I have been thumbing through the paintings and I really like how the app is set up. The paintings are photographed very well.

The image quality is great, five stars for that. Id say four stars for the info included with each painting. It seems a bit brief. Id love to learn more about the artist and the piece when I view a painting. A kids section would be a great educational opportunity.

This is a wonderful app and makes me sad I did not visit when I visited London many years ago. The music is a nice touch also.

This app is the best for connecting avid viewers, students, and professionals to the works of some of the greatest artists our world has witnessed. Crystal clarity in pictures and authentic and vibrant colors combine to truly reflect the masterworks in the National Gallery. For the viewer who has seen these classics in person or for those fortunate enough to be able to now see them at their leisure, this app gives one the chance to share, savor, and reflect upon the wonders of these fine arts.

The write ups are pretty anemic.

The had is nice but not quite as good as standing in front of the paintings. The descriptions are nice to read.

An educational app for art appreciation. It is a must have app.

Outstanding way to access the masters. Easy to use and enjoy.

The app is easy to use and helps familiarize the art student (or art aficionado) with important pieces through the centuries. We utilize it in our classroom to familiarize ourselves with one new artwork each day. You can search via genre, century, or name. It would be nice to have more information, such as links to technical bulletins, restoration and/or curators notes. Hoping for an upgrade with this information!

Asking to review once is enough. Asking to review every single time the app opens is annoying. Also, why is there no way to listen to your own music while looking at the artworks? Other than that, its great. The ability to send images is great, and the image quality for the most part is good.

This is a fabulous app allowing one to see these beautiful paintings one would never see without traveling to London.
